Andrea Caro didn't choose soccer. Her dad put her in it, and she fell in love immediately. That's the whole origin story — simple, honest, and exactly the kind of foundation that produces athletes who play with genuine joy rather than obligation. From that first touch, she hasn't looked back.

Now a sophomore at Eastwood High School, Andrea has built a résumé that speaks loudly at every level. In the 2025-26 season she put up 19 combined goals and assists across just 12 games — numbers that led her team and earned her First Team All-District 1-6A honors. She plays for El Paso Locomotive at the ECNL level, one of the most competitive club circuits in the country, which means the competition she sees week in and week out is well above the high school norm.

What separates Andrea from other strikers her age isn't just the production — it's what the production means to her team. Her proudest moment came during her school's senior night, a game where the stakes were emotional and the pressure was real. She rose to it. She led in goals, she earned her teammates' trust, and she created opportunities that changed the outcome. That's the kind of player coaches at the next level look for: someone who performs when it matters most.

The athletic gifts don't stop at soccer. Andrea is also a First Team All-District sprinter in track, running the 4x4 and 4x2 relays — a dual-sport athlete whose explosiveness and conditioning transfer directly to the pitch. She carries a 3.8 GPA and has been recognized on the All-Academic Team, which means she brings the same discipline to the classroom that she brings to every match. She is driven by the people around her — family, friends, and the dream of competing at the next level. She is open to opportunities across all divisions for Fall 2028.
